To locate Bif Naked at EDGEfest, just looking for the small-but-explosive human dynamo with the mesmerizing voice, bouncing around the stage with her kick ass band.
Tough power rock grrrl outside, sensitive soul inside -- sorta like Iggy Pop meets Betty Boop -- Bif has always documented the extremes of her disturbing, personal life experience: Hard truths set to hard rock.
Three albums in, she's adopted a straight edge lifestyle that's resulted in her most energetic stage shows -- and her strongest recording yet, I Bificus. She's even foraying into the occasional dance beat, as on the first albums single, a remix of "Spaceman."
Through she's recorded an indie solo EP, Four Songs And A Poem (1994) and a spoken word album, Okenspay Ordway 1 (1997), she's best know for blistering, brutally honest rock on her 1996 eponymous album, which launched the hit single video "Daddy's Getting Married."
Last summer, Bif hosted Rap Punk Pop Invitational, an 18 city tour project featuring SNFU, Raggadeath, Glueleg and other playing in support of Stop the Violence -- Face The Music.
